​First Presbyterian is a very friendly church where new members are encouraged to grow spiritually in their faith and love. The church is located in the county seat of Saline County, in the Greater Little Rock Metropolitan Area. First Benton has a long tradition of service to the community. The church was instrumental in the founding of the Churches Joint Council on Human Needs (CJCOHN), a multi-church food and clothing ministry for the city of Benton and greater Saline County. The church was also instrumental in creating the Safe Haven women’s emergency shelter. In addition to supporting CJCHON and Safe Haven, we have supported and continue to support the Community Free Health Clinic, Habitat for Humanity, Community Coat Drive, Backpacks for School, Nursing Home Christmas Store, and other mission groups.
